To ensure a customer focused and effective delivery and collection of company products and raw materials in an efficient, timely and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect raw materials as scheduled by the transport planner from farm, port or stores
- Complete daily vehicle and trailer checks for defects prior to taking the vehicle onto the road to ensure that it is in a roadworthy and legal condition
- Undertake any reasonable task related to the delivery and collection of company product
Essential
- Valid HGV (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A sound knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive Legislation
- Strong demonstrable skills and experience as an HGV (C+E) driver
- Bulker experience
Preferable
- Bulk blower experience advantageous, however training will be provided
