We are looking for a part time Trainee Legal Cashier Assistant to join our client, a successful and well established legal firm in Marlow.
Experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given. This is a part time permanent position - up to 25 hours per week.
Main responsibilities
- Monitoring the banking system for all electronic payments throughout the day (CHAPS, BACS, FPC)
- Client Account bank reconciliation and dealing with out-of-date cheques
- Maintaining any cheques coming in and taking them to the Post Office
- Dealing with payment requests and setting up cheques to be sent out
- Assisting with the months ends reports for the Client Account
- Settling invoices on Leap and writing off disbursements
- Maintaining Client Deposit Accounts including interest posting
- Processing Chaps/Bacs payments on Bankline
- Handle credit and debit card payments from client telephone call
- Provide holiday cover the accounts department as required
Experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be given. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, English and Maths skills are essential.
