We currently have a demand for friendly, approachable and committed individuals to support the NHS at various GP practices. We are seeking candidates in the Wigan, Leigh and Bolton area who have worked in a Medical or GP practice environment and have experience working on the systems EMIS or Docman to support various surgeries with temporary support on reception and administration
What will you be doing as a EMIS Receptionist?
- Working on reception offering a friendly service to patients
- Dealing with appointments
- Using the EMIS system to book patients in and also update patients records
- Registering new patients and making relevant checks
- Dealing temporary residents and patients requiring immediately necessary treatment
- Supporting the clinicians in General Practice with any administrative tasks
- Dealing with prescription requests and initiating prescriptions
