We are recruiting for a well established road freight company who are seeking an experienced General Manager / Operations Manager level person who has a wealth of road freight experience.
Previous experience in senior level within freight / and logistics is essential, knowledge of managing projects also required and customs experience also is a must.
- Be proactive in developing new and existing business and commercially away.
- Strong knowledge of UK / Irish road freight - imports and exports
- Create and deveop relationships with UK / Irish customers
- Handling key accounts
- Contacting importers/exporters to establish their clearance/delivery requirements.
- Providing customers with quotations and following up on enquiries
- Making sure all requirements and deadlines for each shipment are met
- Invoicing on a daily basis
Hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm
