Job Title: KS2 Teacher (Complex PMLD and SLD)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience (£30,000+ with QTS)
Job Description:
We are looking for two passionate and skilled KS2 Teachers to join our team, focusing on students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD). These positions are critical as the classes are currently planned to be led by strong TA3s, so we need exceptional candidates to provide the best educational outcomes for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching to KS2 students with complex PMLD and SLD needs.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure effective learning environments.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain detailed records and reports on student progress.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
- Degree in Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with students with PMLD and SLD.
- Strong understanding of SEN education strategies and approaches.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
