Following a period of huge growth, our client currently has a need for a commercial and analytically minded senior finance professional to join them on an initial interim basis to take control of a project to analyse their stock, based at their offices near to Bournemouth, Dorset.
What will the Senior Finance Business Partner role involve?
- Analysis of stock – looking at historic sales and pricing;
- Manipulating 100,000 lines of data;
- Getting out into the business and working with all departments (including Production, Pricing & Buying teams) to gain a clear understanding of what's happening;
- Presenting findings to the senior leadership team;
- Providing support in looking at developing a sales budgeting tool.
Suitable Candidate for the Senior Finance Business Partner vacancy:
- Excellent Excel skills and the ability to manipulate large volumes of data;
- Previous experience in a business partnering or analytical role, with a track record of working with other non-finance teams across the business;
- A background in a retail or warehouse environment would be highly advantageous.
