This is a SEN Learning Support role based in a specialist provision school in Hemel Hempstead, supporting Autistic Children, who require low support and have well to high, cognitive abilities - a large part of the role is Restorative.

This Special Education Needs LSA (Learning Support Assistant) opportunity, is ideal if you aspire to have a career focussed on Counselling, Men Health, Wellbeing, Criminal, Social or Youth Justice, or looking at elements of social care for example.

Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary Scale: £440 to £500 per week

Start date: ASAP or October

Contract type: Long Term Contract

The Alternative Provision is situated in Hemel Hempstead supporting boys and girls, all who have a range of additional needs associated with social, emotional mental health challenges. It's a larger Primary and Secondary provision, with over 50 students, aged 7-19

This school offers a restorative, therapeutic approach to education and behaviour management, they want their children engaged in key and personal skills, giving the children skills they can use in and out of school.

As a learning support assistant, you will be working in classes of 3-6 pupils with a staff to student ratio of 1:1
