Castlefield Recruitment are working with a social housing organisation in the Yorkshire region, who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to their busy team on a permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working, a generous pension contribution and other great benefits.
Duties:
- Processing all financial transactions for the business which will include purchases, expenses, invoices and payments
- Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and monitoring budgets and expenditures
- Posting prepayments, accruals and other journals
- Recording and reviewing financial data and provide information and advice to budget holders
- Prepare month end and year end processes including reconciliations
Experience:
- Previous experience working as an Assistant Management Accountant in social housing
- AAT Qualified with experience using financial systems and strong excel skills
- Ability to post prepayments and accruals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
