I'm recruiting for a Assistant Accountant, early in their studies to join a dynamic global finance team. This role is based in Basingstoke with a hybrid working pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Deliver accurate, timely month-end reporting across multiple international entities
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to streamlining finance functions
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure financial accuracy
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree or 2+ years' finance experience, ideally started studying / part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in month-end close processes and financial controls
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proactive and adaptable to a changing environment
