As a global SaaS business, we have continued to grow from strength to strength, our UK operation requires a new lead to traverse the delicate process of merging family values and traditional methods/products with a hyper modern technological client centric approach. The opportunity to grow in the company is really backed with an ambitious PE-owner with a global growth agenda.

BASIC SALARY: £130,000 - £150,000

BENEFITS: Commensurate with level of role

Location - Luton

Commutable Locations - this is an office-based role with visits throughout the UK and occasionally Europe.

Role Purpose: Managing Director / UK General Manager - SaaS, Law Enforcement

Working closely with both the outgoing owner (retiring) of the UK business and the CEO to ensure the forward movement of the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the business retains the core values that's led to us becoming the UK's Market Leader of technology tools into the UK law enforcement community, whilst creating a strategic modern approach to sustainable growth whilst increasing enterprise value (ARR)

Key Tasks: Managing Director / UK General Manager - SaaS, Law Enforcement

  • Overall responsibility for the full P/L for the UK Business.
  • Develop UK Business and market shares with new technological products and services such as AI, hybrid solutions hardware and software.
  • Evangelism for future client centric road maps and future products.
  • Responsible for building trust with customers, partner development and relationship development, in both new and existing clients
  • Overall responsibility for the public bid tenders and make sure the UK department has the right kind of talent and procedures to develop, win and serve the tenders.
  • Must have an ongoing overview of the company's financial position and risks and ensure that the company's asset management is arranged in a reassuring manner.
  • Stay connected with and development with key partners.

Person Specification: Managing Director / UK General Manager - SaaS, Law Enforcement

To be successful in your application, you will balance the needs of the corporation with the values of the legacy business and workforce. Leadership is of the utmost importance to us, not only as your prospects are to grow and develop but crucially your ability to succession plan, empower and enthuse others.

  • A background which includes time with a corporate/high performing organisation.
  • A proven track record successfully winning tenders and supply into the UK law enforcement, police, CPS, MOD, immigration and/or Customs & Excise.
  • Experience from the IT industry within hardware or/both software, SAAS, PAAS or similar, preferable with experience from ARR Business Models
  • A minimum bachelors degree, preferably an MBA
