HR Administrator

This position is fixed-term until September 2025. Part-time hours of 30 per week can be considered.

As the HR Administrator, you will support the HR team by carrying out administrative duties relating to employee learning and development, supporting good practices and the organisation's accreditations. HR/L&D experience is highly desirable but candidates with excellent administrative and transferable skills will be considered.

The HR Administrator role is hands-on and varied. It requires a proactive individual who is organised, able to work with initiative, flexible, and eager to learn.

Duties will include the following:

  • Monitoring training and development plans.
  • Setting up, monitoring and managing the training and development platform.
  • Collating training and development needs.
  • Working with a training plan and budget.
  • Developing and maintaining the L&D intranet page.
  • Coordinating Line Manager workshops and corporate development sessions.
  • Monitoring First Aider, Fire Warden and Mental Health First Aider training.
  • Managing the mentoring scheme.
  • Organising meetings
  • Coordinating the notice board.
  • Coordinating Long Service Awards and award vouchers.
  • Creating news articles and letters.
  • Delivering new starter inductions on HR Systems.
  • Supporting the delivery of the Staff Conference and Champions Lunch.
  • Providing support and cover for the HR coordinator as required.
  • Supporting social and wellbeing activities.
