Commercial Finance Analyst
12 month FTC Watford based - 2 days a week in the office, 3 from home Up to £50,000
A new opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our clients Commercial team, on a 12 month contract basis. The Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for delivering professional, timely and accurate financial reporting & forecasting. This is a broad role, which encompasses financial management, contractual support, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the annual budgets and forecasts to the wider team
- To produce the month end management accounts reporting pack
- To produce and analyse the KPIs for areas such as invoicing, staffing, purchasing, allocations and stock control and alert managers to trends
- To prepare the monthly invoices for both core and non-core activity; monitor and chase debt to optimise cash flow
- To conduct commercial reviews with budget holders to review the KPIs; distribute minutes and follow up action points
- To lead the budgeting/forecasting process
- Drive improvements in reporting, processes and use of systems
Requirements
- Qualified or Finalist ACCA / CIMA / ACA
- Strong commercial skills
- Excel intermediate
- Self-starter, motivated and strong communication skills
