The company is an award-winning sustainable construction company based in North Herefordshire. We are a family run business with more than 40 years of experience within the construction sector. We undertake the design and construction of bespoke oak framed projects across the UK and abroad. We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and creative Marketing Manager to be based at our beautiful offices in rural Herefordshire. This new role will be instrumental in driving the company forward, with a focus on our core strengths of sustainability, craftsmanship, innovation, and exemplary service.

You will be responsible for shaping and implementing the company strategic marketing plan - strengthening and amplyfying our identity and reputation across all marketing platforms, seeking new opportunities, building new relationships, and working with the Sales Team to help generate sales enquiries.

You will inherit our long heritage but should be keen to forge a modern marketing plan; helping us move forward with our future ambitions and embrace a wide range of interesting new projects.

Working alongside the senior management team, you'll lead a strategy that includes digital and traditional platforms, content creation, campaign implementation, and outcome analysis; enhancing brand visibility, building our profile and helping to generate positive sales leads.

The role is full time with an attractive renumeration package plus a company pension scheme.

KEY SKILLS

  • Successful marketing and PR background, preferably with management level experience
  • Creative, and thoughtful with keen eye for detail & opportunity
  • Strong communicator across all platforms
  • Focussed upon deliverable outcomes and achieving strategic goals, including increasing sales enquiries and enhancing customer experiences
  • Proficient technical knowledge across a variety of marketing platforms, including social, web and MailChimp, plus emerging platforms & tools
  • Ability to think strategically across departments and to develop associated marketing plans that will collectively align with our overall ethos and long term ambitions
  • An analytical mindset and ability to identify targets, interpret data, assess campaigns and optimise performance and outcomes
  • Experienced collaborator - to include clients, external partners and internal colleagues.
  • Proven ability to develop and foster existing relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Strong administration & organisational skills
  • Ability to establish an in-house marketing and PR team as the position develops
