Project Manager - Electrical biased - Data Centres
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated project manager to join an M&E Data Centre Consultancy. Our client is involved in the data centre construction sector, and we need someone with electrical expertise who can ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement planning.
- Ensure high quality workmanship by monitoring progress closely throughout each phase of the project life cycle.
- Lead regular meetings with stakeholders such as clients or contractors so they stay informed about developments related to their respective areas under management
- Maintain accurate records regarding job costs incurred versus projected cost estimates; report any discrepancies immediately upon discovery thereof
- Evaluate ongoing performance against milestones set forth within contractual agreements between parties involved
Qualifications & Skills Required:
The ideal candidate should have experience managing complex engineering projects involving facilities design/build teams, relating specifically towards LV, generators, UPS's. We're also looking for someone with experience of managing a few different projects at once.
Day rate: Circa £450 per day
IR35: Outside
Length: 12 months
Location: Southampton area
Travel and accommodation expensed
