On behalf of our client Little Moons who are brand new to the Kettering area, Pertemps are recruiting for Warehouse Team Leaders to support the production team to meet production demands in line with business requirements. This is an exciting brand-new business that are seeking your experience to work as part of a cross functional team who are working efficiently and in unity. You will be responsible for ensuring the team follow warehouse processes and procedures to keep our people and product safe whilst maximising efficiencies.

Some Duties will involve:

  • Lead by example, in areas of safety, food safety and quality, production efficiency during a working shift and prioritising and raising any issues where necessary with Shift Manager / Health &
  • Safety Manager/Technical Manager.
  • To report any issues, problems, accidents, or incidents and near misses which may fall outside of your area of authority to the Shift Manager /Health & Safety Manager with the utmost urgency.
  • To ensure that the department conforms to food safety and quality policies and procedures adopting a "Right First Time" mentality.
  • To ensure that all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standards are adhered to within your relevant department.
  • To ensure that all employees within your departments have been issued with and are wearing the correct PPE at all times according to the requirements of their roles and Company policy.
  • To ensure all the company Food safety and quality are always followed by the team.
  • To ensure the team always follow the HACCP policy and ensure that local CCP checks required in your areas are carried out correctly on time and paperwork compliances is adhered to.
  • To ensure that all daily targets/tasks are achieved within the departments, in a timely manner.
  • Through the use of HMI touch screen technology and SCADA process systems actively operate the machinery to execute full product production plans. This includes full batch production in line with the daily production schedules, operating the CIP process of all lines and units and conducting recipe changeovers.
  • To ensure that all daily workloads are assigned to the team via the Shift Manager in an effective and fair manner that meets the needs and demands of Packing and Process departments.
  • To work in conjunction with the Technical Operators and deal with all day-to-day issues within the departments, escalating issues to Shift Managers where necessary if unable to resolve.
  • To ensure you are adequately briefed and kept up to date with any changes to Company policies and procedures and such changes are cascaded to your teams.
  • To ensure that all employees within your team are adequately trained within their working areas against Sop`s, ensuring individuals are multi-skilled in all their relevant areas of the Plant. To ensure that all waste is managed, controlled, and monitored.
