Sustainability Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplined consultancy who provide built environment and specialist services to clients across the UK. They are looking for an established Sustainability Engineer to join their sustainability team based in Wakefield.
Role responsibilities for a Sustainability Engineer include:
- Use their experience in IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling tasks such as overheating assessments and operational energy analysis
- Produce SBEM Part L compliance calculations and reports
- Provide Sustainability strategies and solutions to clients to help achieve Net Zero and ESG objectives
- Provide clients with support to help enhance their understanding of UK building regulations like Part L and Part O
A Sustainability Engineer will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a relevant role within the construction industry
- Proficient with IES-VE software when carrying out operational energy analysis and overheating assessments in accordance to TM52, TM54, and TM59
- It would be beneficial to have a Level 4 NDEA qualification, with demonstratable experience delivering SBEM assessments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
