Job Overview:

They are seeking an experienced and highly organized Personal Assistant to support their Head Teacher. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Head Teacher's office, enabling them to focus on the strategic leadership of the school. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated team and contribute to the success of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head Teacher, including managing their diary, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Prepare and organize documentation for meetings, events, and presentations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Head Teacher, handling inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Coordinate communication between the Head Teacher, staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of school events and activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure the Head Teacher's office is well organized.
  • Undertake any other duties as required to support the effective operation of the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to supporting the Head Teacher and the wider school community.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of school administration systems and procedures.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and requirements in an educational context.
