My client are Chartered Surveyors and commercial property agents based in East London. They have been operating for over 30 years and are going into a new phase of growth within the industry. They are seeking a new commercial agent to join the team.
Based across east London they handle lettings, sales and acquisitions across all sectors of retail, office, industrial and leisure facilities. In addition to this, the role also involves report writing and liaising with architects and planners for submission of documentation to assist clients with future developments.
We are seeking a candidate that has experience within the industry of estate agency ideally across all commercial sectors and who is a qualified surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. A candidate who will be key in focusing on growing the agency department on the number of properties as well as geographical areas of London.
Responsibilities
Working within the commercial agency department handling the lettings, sales and acquisitions of commercial properties.
Liaising with clients and reporting information on marketing strategies and enquiries received.
Liaising with applicants on their search criteria and ensuring they are provided relevant information on available premises within the portfolio.
Attending inspections and undertaking property surveys before producing reports back to new and existing clients.
Preparation of marketing strategies and property particulars.
Attending to viewings and managing the online advertising platforms.
Dealing with landlord, tenant and buyer due diligence for compliancy purposes.
Handling negotiations on all transactions and reporting to clients efficiently and accurately.
Preparation of reports required for planning purposes where applicable.
From time to time, there may also be additional professional work required within the lease advisory area of surveying, particularly dealing with rent reviews and renewals.
The job is full time, Monday to Friday.
You should be competent with IT, communication and interpersonal skills and can make a difference to the company and be a team player.
Driving license required.
