Position Overview:

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Tutors and Teachers to join our team in Wolverhampton. You will work with pupils in their own homes, providing one-on-one support to help them access education and overcome the difficulties they face. Our pupils require a compassionate and flexible approach, and we are particularly interested in tutors and teachers with experience in supporting pupils with additional needs, mental health concerns, and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored educational support to pupils in their homes, focusing on individual learning needs.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that address the unique barriers to learning faced by each pupil.
  • Provide consistent and patient guidance, helping pupils manage their behavioural, emotional, and academic challenges.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with pupils who have additional needs or face barriers to learning.
  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training).
  • A strong understanding of how to engage and motivate pupils with challenging behaviours or mental health concerns.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications or significant tutoring experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and their families.
  • A flexible and adaptive approach to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
