Working as a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that automotive components within a specific category meet specifications, industry regulations and the company's high standards before they are approved as new products.
The duties of this process driven technical quality inspection role include:
- Physical inspection of automotive components and sub-assemblies
- Carrying out a range of validation testing including use of measurement tools
- Reading, understanding and interpreting technical drawings, information and specifications
- Speaking with various stakeholders including suppliers and internal teams
- Accurately recording and analysing gathered information before compiling reports on a daily basis
- Offering support to audit process as required
The successful Quality Inspector will:
- Hold an Engineering qualification, or be qualified through experience within a related role with good GCSEs
- Be technically minded, with the ability to read technical drawings
- Have a process driven mindset, with the ability to accurately record information even when carrying out repetitive tasks
- Have great communication skills
To be a top candidate for this role, you will also have:
- Experience within automotive manufacturing
- Studied to degree level previously
- An interest in the automotive sector
- Immediate availability
