Overview:
We are working with a leading IT services provider seeking a Service Desk Engineer (Level 2) to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity, combining remote work, office-based duties, and visits to client sites as required.
Role:
As a Service Desk Engineer, you'll provide second-line technical support for a diverse range of clients. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting via remote access, implementing solutions, and assisting with installations, moves, and changes of IT infrastructure. You will also support networking equipment (switches, firewalls) and cloud-based services such as Office 365.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve technical issues remotely using RMM tools.
- Assist with hardware installation and network setup.
- Implement and support Office 365 environments.
- Manage client relationships and ensure proactive communication on incident resolutions.
- Work independently on projects and maintain documentation.
- Visit client sites to provide hands-on support when required.
Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of IT experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Client OS, Office apps, Office 365, Hyper-V, and VMware
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
