Position: Science Technician
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, London

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham, London, to find a dedicated Science Technician to join their team starting in September.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science practical lessons.
- Support teachers and students during practical sessions, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
- Maintain and organize laboratory resources, including chemicals, specimens, and equipment.
- Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment as required.
- Assist in the inventory management of science supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the laboratory environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school setting OR a recent science graduate.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with handling chemicals, specimens, and scientific equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
Salary: £13.00 - £15.50 per hour, depending on experience.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold a degree in Science and have laboratory experience, ideally in a school.
- Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
- Ensure your CV covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
