Finance Support Manager - N.E & Scotland - £45,000 package - Hospitality & Catering
We are assisting our client, who is seeking a commercially minded finance professional with experience in catering/hospitality who is not afraid of getting stuck in and can grow with the business, visiting sites two days a week and working autonomously when required. The role will require travel across Scotland and North England with occasional overnight stays.
Principle Responsibilities for the successful finance support manager -
- Support the monthly completion of trading accounts with operations managers.
- Produce period-end variance analysis, review trading accounts and support period-end review process with commentary and insightful reporting.
- Support the Operations Team in producing accurate client and company forecasts and budgets.
- Carry out financial audits on site and advise on financial process best practise.
- Provide financial training and support.
What skills and experience are we looking for in the successful finance support manager -
- Studying or part-qualified CIMA or equivalent
- A lively, outgoing personality with a proven ability to build rapport with non-financial managers.
- A motivated, proactive and organised individual with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Commercial acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience working in a multi-location business
- Experience in financial training
