What you'll be doing
Based in Manton Wood on a Hybrid working basis. FTC until December 2025.
To manage the supply planning process for the Food For Now (Sandwiches and Sushi) business category, facilitating the flow of planning data and demand reviews to enable the delivery of operations and logistics strategy across the supply chain
- Lead the supply planning process for the business category
- As part of monthly planning process, secure needed planning data for operational and logistical programmes and build timephased plans with operational and logistical teams detailing product format, volume, and revenue and margin value - enabling portfolio, sales and capability estimation
- Lead the weekly planning process, managing all master data, including run rate, changeover times, run frequency, efficiency and labour intensity of products and available hours/lines /machines of processes - enabling completion of operational and logistical activity plans. Support the addition of new product data with product planning managers
- Manage the reporting of supply planning activity such as cost, margin and volume tracking and capability performance, throughput and demo output. As well as critical supply chain resource management
- Prepare and facilitate agenda for both monthly and weekly Supply Meetings with the operations and logistics teams to ensure detail of changes, issues, options and recommendations for management and recording of performance measures and planning assumptions
- Facilitate supply planning in the business category by collating and updating plans and analysing and modelling potential outcomes. As well as gaining understanding and consensus across teams and reaching recommendations and decisions
- Measure supply planning in the business category by looking at customer and supplier service level, operational and logistical plan attainment and network cost. As well as product quality, stock holding and capacity achievement
- As required, attend necessary meetings relating to the successful completion of operational and logistical activities, e. g., operations/logistics meetings, network/supplier meetings, or fulfilment/scheduling/procurement meetings. Support front line teams as required to support delivery of operations and logistics activities

- Degree calibre or has equivalent experience
- Demonstrable experience as a leader of a supply team, ideally in an FMCG environment
- In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain procedures and practices
- Experience of leading major projects and programme management, and delivering change within a large function/medium sized organisation
- Financial awareness and high level of understanding of profit and loss management
- Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite
