**Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance and Reporting:

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations.

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions and disclosures.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings.

  • Tax Planning and Advisory:

  • Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, focusing on minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing tax efficiencies.

  • Advise on tax implications of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.

  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.

  • Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for tax-related matters.

  • Communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop and deliver client presentations and proposals.

  • Research and Analysis:

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in UK tax laws and regulations, and assess their impact on clients.

  • Conduct detailed research on complex tax issues and provide well-documented conclusions.

  • Collaborate with other tax professionals to develop best practices and innovative tax solutions.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor and train junior tax staff, providing guidance on technical tax matters and professional development.

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

**Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in a public accounting firm or large corporate environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
