This one's for the seasoned Management Accountant who can walk into a busy finance function, pick up the reins, and crack on. If you need micromanaging, we'll save you the trouble - this isn't it.

You're joining a fast-growing, PE-backed group that's absolutely flying right now. The numbers are going up, M&A activity is on the cards, and the finance team now has a prime spot open for someone who knows their stuff and wants in on the action.

You'll be the backbone of monthly reporting. End-to-end management accounts, long-term and project accounting, balance sheet recs - the works. But it's not just about running reports and ticking boxes. This team needs someone with a sharp eye, who'll challenge the status quo, flag risks before they become problems, and help tighten up governance and controls as the business scales.

You'll be working in what they lovingly call the "finance dream team" - a solid group of proper Yorkshire folk who are friendly, down-to-earth, and know how to get the job done. It's a collaborative setup, working closely with ops, so if you're the kind of accountant who likes to stay buried in spreadsheets, you might find this a bit... lively.

They're in the process of implementing MS Dynamics, so if you're a systems-savvy type who can build slick Excel models and doesn't panic at the words "data migration", even better. Excel skills aren't optional - they're essential.

QBE, part-qualified, fully qualified - it's all good. What matters is that you're confident, capable, and don't need a map to navigate a P&L.
