Planner/Supply Chain Analyst

A pioneering design and manufacturing company based in High Wycombe is recruiting.

We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic person to join our client's Operations Team as a Planner / Scheduler. The role will require a high level of communication and organisational skills with primary responsibilities to manage multiple production schedules. The Planner / Scheduler will be expected to co-ordinate closely with other departments within the business to ensure our client manufacture and deliver products to meet customer expectations.

Ideally, the successful candidate would be educated to Degree standard relating to Operational and Business Management. This is an exciting new role within our client, a market leading company. Extensive training and support will be provided. This role will suit a methodical candidate with good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Skills/Competencies Required

  • Proficient with Sage 200
  • Proven experience in material planning
  • Good knowledge of MRP systems and their functionality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
