This company specialise in the supply, installation and service of CNC machinery throughout the UK. Due to their continued success, they have grown year on year and are known for being a great place to work with a high staff retention, which is always a great sign for a new employer.
Due to an internal promotion, they now need a new Inspection Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for completing pre-delivery inspections and testing of their machines and will be trained up on all their products.
This role would suit an individual from an engineering / maintenance / machine tool background with a keen interest in the CNC industry, looking for a long-term career, whether you be fresh from college, or with previous experience behind you.
The Role:
- Complete testing and inspections of company machinery and record measurements
- Review new products and systems, reporting quality issues
- Mechanical and electrical workshop-based work
- Further training provided (internal and external as required)
- Monday to Friday, permanent role
The Person:
- Electrically-biased background
- Relevant engineering qualification
- Previous CNC experience would be highly advantageous (however those from general maintenance background with a keen interest will still be considered - training provided)
- Keen to learn and continue developing your skillset
