We are seeking a qualified Nurse to join our clients' dynamic and vibrant Health and Social Care Section at the College. This full-time Lecturer role involves teaching across the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3. This position is ideal for candidates with a passion for educating young learners and preparing them for careers in the health and social care sector.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions across various levels of Health and Social Care courses.
- Develop and update course materials in line with current industry standards and practices.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
- Participate in curriculum development activities and staff meetings.
- Maintain professional and accreditation standards, ensuring compliance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Nursing.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with current or recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.
- Experience in teaching or training, preferably in further education.
- Strong commitment to student success and quality in teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- If not already obtained, willingness to pursue a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (support provided).
