£30,000 - £40,000 + Monday to Friday (Flexible Hours Available) + Holidays (With Purchased Leave Available) + Further Training Opportunities

The company are part of a global engineering group that provide a variety of high-quality engineering solutions. After a large recent investment, they are looking to add a proactive individual to support with maintaining high health & safety standards. Internal and external training can be provided to support further development.

In this role you will be part of a tight-knit team that always looks to continuously improve the practices of the business. Responsibilities include identifying and assessing risks, implementing group safety standards, monitoring H&S compliance, along with promoting new initiatives and training programs.

The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH qualification, along with 2+ years of experience in a similar role taking on responsibilities such as but not limited to; risk assessment, internal audits, and conducting training. Experience with mental health practices is advantageous, however training can be provided.

The Role

  • Work alongside the HR, management, and Operations team to continuously improve Health and Safety standards
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Enhance the health and safety culture of the team
  • Conduct accident and near-miss reports where necessary
  • Site-based with flexible working hours within 8am - 6pm

The Person

  • Relevant NEBOSH qualification
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with internal audits, risk assessment, running training sessions (Highly advantageous)
