About our Client

Our client will be attending his first year at the University of London at London School of Economics and Political Science from September, where he will be studying History and Politics. He has Spinal Cord Injury and will require support with certain aspects of his personal care, medication, administration, general social support and daily living. Our client shares a huge interest in History and Politics. He finds enjoyment in talking about different kind of books including SPQR, Crime and Punishment and more. He enjoys watching various TV shows and films, including The Bear, Game of Thrones, Sitcoms and Marvel movies. This young adult shares a huge passion for sports, such as football, cricket, tennis, snooker and boxing! Other than watching and talking about things, our client enjoys going out with friends and visiting new places. He describes himself as an inquisitive person and is always up to learning about something different and trying new things. He is looking for someone to talk about shared interests and passions, but at the same time someone, who is willing to try new things with a positive mindset.

Our client is excited about moving away from home to gain more independence whilst at university.

As written by him ...

"In September, I'm planning on going to university in London. Due to my disability, I will need 24/7 care to help me with my daily activities. I will be living in student accommodation in an area of London called Bloomsbury and there will be an additional room provided for my PA.

Seeing as we'll be spending a lot of time together, I need my PA to be someone I get on with. This not only means someone who I can have a good chat with, but also someone who's comfortable if I'm slightly less talkative when I'm tired after a long day. I would also like someone who shares my interests, which I'll talk more about below. With that being said, while I do want a PA who I get on with really well, I also want a PA who's able to keep their distance when I'm with my friends or doing things such as attending a lecture.

Although I will probably need a bit more help round the streets of London than round a school campus, this approach of being there when I need you but also able to be discrete is really important to me."
