Confident Customer Service Executive required to join our international client's export sales team! 25k pa plus company bonus, plus regular pay reviews and progression opportunities, flexible starting times, 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays and much more!

As the Customer Service Executive, you will enjoy a benefits package covering:

  • Working hours with flexible start times: Monday Friday either 8.30 am 5.00pm (1 hour lunch break) or 9.00 am 5.00 pm (30 minutes lunch break)

As the Customer Service Executive, you will be:

  • Working within the UK and Export team, liaising with global customers, e.g. taking their orders, handling their queries, dealing with delivery issues etc
  • Receiving and approving customers' orders, keeping customers proactively informed and updated at all times
  • Identifying ordering gaps with active and inactive customers and utilising these opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to them
  • Staying updated with international export rules and legislations

Who we're looking for:

The ideal candidate will have had previous export or purchasing experience, however this is not essential and our client is happy to train

Essential for this role are outstanding written and spoken communication skills, previous office-based customer service experience, a hunger and passion to learn elements of the job that are new to you and a confidence to be able to utilise opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to your customer accounts.

If you can speak additional languages such as German, French, Italian or Spanish, this would be advantageous.
