Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is actively seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of their electronics production facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of production, assembly, scheduling, procurement, inventory management, and quality control processes, essential for the manufacturing of high-quality electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a small team of production staff, providing guidance and feedback on performance
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and enhance efficiency
  • Analyse production data to assess output, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Identify areas for improvement within production processes and strategise methods to enhance productivity and reduce costs
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and procedures, fostering a safe work environment
  • Maintain communication with suppliers to resolve production issues as they arise
  • Work closely with the QA Manager to ensure the quality of production output

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supervision and team leadership within a manufacturing environment
  • In-depth understanding of production operations, particularly in the electronics sector
  • Capability to develop and oversee efficient production schedules
  • Strong organisational skills, with a keen focus on details and problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of promoting a productive team atmosphere
