What You'll Be Doing:
You'll lead the successful delivery of IT and digital projects that align with key organisational goals. Working closely with Chief Officers and Senior Responsible Owners, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets, and deliver high-quality results
Key responsibilities Include:
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of complex IT and digital programmes.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders, including the Home Office and local authorities.
- Leading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensuring effective risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation across all projects.
- Driving continuous improvement by implementing best practices and lessons learned.
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in managing large, complex IT programmes/portfolios.
- Strong leadership skills with a background in strategic planning and budget management.
- Ability to influence at senior levels, providing evidence-based insights for decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Programme management qualification (e.g., MSP) or equivalent experience.
