Design Engineer Permanent Full-Time
Salary - Negotiable
Location - In office, Kilkenny

With healthy growth and an increase in the demand for their services, they're now looking for a motivated Design Engineer who is competent in using SolidWorks and has professional experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
- Prepare and issue SolidWorks designs to the production dept. including detailed technical drawings and instructions for the manufacture of products
- Liaise with the estimation department on the handover of projects
- Support clients on technical queries or design of projects and approvals
- Prepare project material orders and issue them to the supply chain dept
- Manage and prioritise own projects
- Support production on technical queries
- Liaise with the production supervisor on any specific project manufacturing details
- Keep accurate reporting of projects, including the track of materials and labour usage efficiencies
- Prepare and issue delivery or dispatch notes for projects
- Liaise with accounts dept. on invoicing of projects
- Attend weekly production meetings
Experiences required
- Must have professional SolidWorks experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in design within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Organisational skills and attention for detail
