Senior Network Engineer - Immediate Start - 12 Month Contract - Watford Office - Hybrid working
My client is a large Watford based company, and they are currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team, and assist with their end of life global network replacement project.
Some of your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Completes network Engineering and Administration maintenance tasks and analyzes process for improvement
- Performs medium to high complexity network changes and implementations
- Participates in the network technology design process
- Analyzes potential changes and enhancements to network software and hardware to determine impact on existing production
- Works as a member of a project team on business projects
In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
- Requires in-depth knowledge of network hardware and software technologies and best practices
- Knowledge of a network technology discipline (e.g. IP Routing and Switching, Routing Protocols, SD WAN, Firewall, Packet Analysis, IP Telephony, Infrastructure)
- Knowledge of the organization, processes and customers
- Knowledge of incident and change management principles and best practices
In return, my client is offering £600+/day via umbrella (there is flexibility for the right candidate), and an initial 12 month contract with scope to extend.
