About Us: Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm. They are currently looking for a property litigation solicitor.

Role Overview: As a Property Litigation Solicitor, you will be involved in a variety of commercial and residential litigation matters. You will manage your own caseload under supervision and work closely with clients, experts, and other legal professionals to achieve the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consider client instructions and liaise with clients and experts to gather necessary information.
  • Obtain and analyse title information from the Land Registry to advise clients.
  • Draft and serve contractual and statutory notices.
  • Assist in drafting pleadings and supporting witness statements for applications.
  • Handle disputes concerning property contracts, property insolvency, residential landlord and tenant issues, rights of way, adverse possession, and restrictive covenants.
  • Conduct thorough legal research.
  • Prepare cost budgets and disclosure lists.
  • Prepare bundles for hearings and trials.
  • Record all chargeable time accurately.
  • Liaise with courts regarding hearings and coordinate with Counsel and Counsel's clerk. Instruct Counsel and attend court to support Counsel when necessary.
  • Participate in business development activities, including preparing literature and attending events.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in property litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under supervision.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
