Retail administrator and operations executive

In this role you will play a key part in supporting the businesses owners with a range of administrative duties and stock management, but with flexibility to assist customers on the shop floor on occasion.

Our ideal person for this position will be a friendly and flexible individual who has great communication skills, excellent attention to detail, someone who is dependable and a self-starter with initiative.

The position is office based 5 days a week (including some Saturdays), Monday to Saturday, between 9.45-17.15, and conveniently based in the town centre.

As Retail Administrator you will ultimately be responsible for:

  • Entering all new products onto the stock management system
  • Checking all inbound deliveries v's delivery notes and invoices against original orders
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Processing invoices
  • Liaising with the business owner to produce quotes for clients
  • Booking in repairs and bespoke orders and liaising with the workshop
  • Processing returns
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Stationary management and ordering
  • Supporting the business owner to ensure the smooth running of the business including instore work
  • Item labelling
  • Helping the sales associates on the shop floor during peak times to ensure customers receive a prompt and efficient experience

As our ideal Retail Administrator you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • To be goal oriented and task driven
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Excellent IT Skills and confident user of Microsoft packages and accurate keyboard skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • To be a team player

Salary betwee n £25.000 - £28,000,000 based on experience. In summary, this position will provide you with a stable job with a small, successful owner managed business in a convenient town centre location and provide you with the chance to work with a beautiful range of products.
