Office Manager

Our client is seeking a talented Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of their office. As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks and maintaining a positive and efficient workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Support company operations by maintaining office systems and procedures.
  • Manage the office budget and ensure accurate and timely
  • Support HR and H&S functions to update and maintain office policies.
  • Take responsibility for all office requirements, including supplies, catering, and postage.
  • Manage documents, correspondence, and design filing systems.
  • Coordinate contracts and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure efficient management of all office electronic equipment.
  • Oversee office maintenance, layout, and arrange necessary repairs.
  • Onboard new employees and provide support for their training and development needs.
  • Manage venue bookings, meeting room requirements, and catering.
  • Liaise with key contractors, including office cleaners.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Lead company charity initiatives.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills in relation to office operations, facilities, or staff.
  • Ability to build relationships and foster a positive office environment.
  • Experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial compliance.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and provide training and mentorship.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable with changing priorities and a dynamic work environment.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a similar administrative role, ideally with office management experience.
