Maintenance Electrician

Job Description for Maintenance Electrician:

As a Maintenance Electrician at NNL you will be performing routine maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation plant systems. You will also carry out project work, breakdown repairs and safe isolations.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Criteria for Maintenance Electrician:

  • Time served Electrician or Instrument Mechanic holding recognised apprenticeship (e.g. NVQ level 3 Electrical Instrumentation or equivalent).
  • Able to understand single-line electrical drawings, instructions and manuals.
  • Proficient in English and Maths.
  • Become Developed Vetting cleared (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment, financial, criminal record checks, interview plus 10 years of UK residency).
  • Self-motivated, driven and resilient.
  • Able to make correct and informed decisions under pressure.
  • Evidence of self-motivation with demonstrable levels of drive, energy and resilience.
  • Required to become Appointed as a Nominated Person Electrical.

Desirable Criteria for Maintenance Electrician:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Operation & Maintenance requirements associated with their area.
  • Knowledge of maintenance programmes and company standards/industry best practice.
  • IOSHH Working Safely.
