Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Salary: Up to £26k DOE

Location: Guilford

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9am – 5:30pm

Summary:

My client is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join their team in Guilford. The role involves providing general support and administration within the Marketing department to drive revenue and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of marketing experience, proficiency in social media management, and strong administrative skills.

Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and manage content for social media schedules.
  • Ensure positive online reputation by monitoring all social media channels and review sites.
  • Set up and monitor reports for enquiries and digital activity in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate new marketing initiatives with the Marketing team.
  • Work with external agencies to drive positive traffic to the website and monitor conversions.
  • Manage print requirements and keep company literature up to date
  • Implement Marketing projects timely as directed by the Marketing Manager
  • Update and report on customer feedback and ISO monitoring monthly
  • Monitor Marketing telephones and emails to direct enquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Manage customer survey submissions and canvassing uploads through the CRM system
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act .
  • Perform any other duties requested by the Marketing Manager.

Marketing Assistant Requirements:

  • 2 years experience within a similar role
  • Experience with Social media management
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work additional hours when required
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs
  • Mandatory DBS Check is required
