Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment are excited to be networking for a Bid Writer to join the Team of one of our clients, an innovative contract cleaning service provider which has a strong family culture and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable cleaning solutions to its customers. As Bid Writer you will play a crucial part in securing new business opportunities by producing well-structured and engaging bid proposals. Your keen eye for detail and excellent writing skills will provide you with the tools you need to achieve well-written, winning bids. This is an exciting opportunity for any experience Bid Writer to enhance their skills, and to work for a reputable company within the industry, all owing to their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, compelling bid proposals that meet client specifications and highlight the strengths and capabilities of the company
  • Conduct thorough research on potential clients and competitors to tailor proposals effectively and position company services competitively
  • Work closely with the sales, operations and finance teams to gather essential information and ensure all proposals are accurate and comprehensive
  • Ensure all bid submissions comply with client requirements and regulatory standards
  • Maintain an organised library of proposal templates, case studies and supporting documents to streamline the bid writing process
  • Proofread and edit proposals to ensure clarity, coherence and correctness, adhering to the highest standards of quality
  • Track submitted bids, monitor outcomes and gather feedback to continuously improve the bidding process

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in English, Communications, Business or a related field
  • Previous experience in bid writing, proposal writing or a related role, preferably within the cleaning or facilities management industry
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
