Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Identify improvements in personnel usage and reduce waste.
- Optimise plant operations and develop efficient production processes.
- Analyse and improve galvanising processes, addressing bottlenecks to increase throughput.
- Monitor and optimise chemical data for high-quality, cost-effective production.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs.
- Manage small-scale capital improvement projects to upgrade equipment and implement new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with various teams and provide training on new processes.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, and report to senior management.
Process Engineer Qualifications:
- Proven experience in manufacturing process improvement.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery, chemical processes, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
