Our client, an industry leading manufacturer of radiographic imaging solutions, is looking for a Sales Manager. The ideal candidate has in-depth experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing.

Also the role requires a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives while building and maintaining a high-performance team.

[Purpose of the job]

  • Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of products
  • Research consumer needs and identify how the company's solutions address them
  • Train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives and distributor partners
  • Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts
  • Develop skills continuously for training, and leading sales representatives, and ensure that they're using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
  • Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships

[Responsibilities]

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and extends the company's reach in the UK
  • Liaise and cooperate effectively with distributor business' to enhance set sales objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the distributor team and develop plans for filling them
  • Ensure that company quotas are met by holding regular check-ins with distributors to set objectives and monitor progress
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes

[Required skills and qualifications]

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in managing sales in a corporate setting
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Superb leadership ability

[Preferred skills and qualifications]

  • Motivational speaking experience
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota

[Conditions]

  • Job Type: Full-time & Permanent
  • Annual basic salary: 60~80K (depending on experience)
  • Year end bonus, pension, etc.
  • Working hours: Mon-Fri & 9am-5:30 pm
  • Annual leave: 22 days + Bank/public holidays
  • Location: South West London
