Commercial Upholsterer / Contract Upholstery
£30,000 Basic + Unlimited Overtime (Estimated between £40,000 to £50,000 per annum)
(Fully serviced and insured work vehicle, fuelcard, expenses, accomodation and travel contributions provided)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Commercial Upholstery restoration business who require a skilled Upholsterer or commercial Furniture Restorer for an immediate start, to carry our professional furniture and upholstery repairs in commercial businesses such as pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants in their given territory.
The role offers a basic salary of £30,000 per annum, but current Upholsterers easily earn £40,000 to £50,000 in overtime and additional earnings. As a Commercial Upholsterer, you will also receive a fully serviced work vehicle with unlimited fuel, tools and all additional expenses such as parking and accomodation paid for.
Commercial Upholsterer main responsibilities include:
- Repair and restore as necessary, upholstery and furniture in commercial premises such as pubs, restaurants and hotels
- Cut and sew on site
- Must be able to top stitch, quilted & button back upholstery
- Undertake other reasonable activities as required including travel
- Occasional overnight stays when required
Commercial Upholsterer experience required:
- Must be able to machine sew and cut on-site using mobile Sewing Machine (Provided)
- Must be able to top stitch, quilted & button back upholstery
- Significant experience gained in a commercial furniture production and/or restoration techniques
- Extensive relevant workplace experience
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work using own initiative and with others
