We are currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our client's dynamic team in Grimesthorpe, Sheffield. Our client, a leading company in the steel industry, is known for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. With a convenient location just 17 minutes' walk from Arena / Olympic Legacy Park tram station, this permanent position offers an attractive salary of £25,000 to £25,500 per annum, depending upon experience.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers and clients, providing assistance and resolving any queries or issues that may arise. Your responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries and sales requests, processing orders efficiently, and ensuring timely delivery updates. You will also handle customer invoicing and credit note queries, providing prompt and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

In addition to customer support, you will provide vital administrative support to the Commercial/Technical team. This involves processing invoices and credit notes accurately, managing customer returns, and maintaining relevant IT systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.

Monitoring product availability and reviewing data to assess the need for rescheduling due to deviations will also be part of your role. You will liaise with other departments to communicate any changes or updates to delivery schedules and proactively manage outstanding orders.

As a valuable member of the team, you may be involved in various ad hoc business requirements, such as managing specific projects, representing the organisation at meetings or events, and travelling to specific locations as needed.

To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in Excel, Word, SAP, Outlook, Success Factors, CRM, and Production Management Systems. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
