The Role of Quality Manager

  • Implement and establish H&S policies and procedures to a high standard
  • Ensure quality strategies and processes are met
  • Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations
  • Perform regular internal audits and inspections
  • Maintain ROSPA Gold award status and management systems
  • Implement LEAN manufacturing techniques
  • Develop risk management plans
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Quality assurance and HSE professionals
  • Guide and support on all compliance matters

The candidate for the Quality Manager role

  • MUST be NEBOSH qualified
  • Experience gained in a similar role, with demonstratable experience
  • Essential to have experience of working with Quality tools such as 8D, FEMEA, Root Cause, Six Sigma and 5Y and ideally to have experience of SAP
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Strong IT skills with particular knowledge and experience in SAP, Sharepoint and Excel is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with outstanding written ability skills, able to articulate well and communicate clearly
  • Commercially aware and proactive, with a `can-do` attitude and sense of fun

The Package on offer for the Quality Manager

  • Up to £47,000 basic
  • Performance Profit Related Bonus (PPRP) - a discretionary bonus of around 8% of salary paid annually.
