About the Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and creative music lessons to students across a range of year groups. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, where you can nurture students' musical talents and foster a love of learning through music.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspiring and engaging students of all abilities, from Key Stage 3 to GCSE and A-Level.
- Supporting the development of extracurricular music activities, including school choirs, bands, and performances.
- Preparing students for music exams and school performances.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
- A passion for music and a strong desire to inspire students to achieve their best.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Immediate availability for work.
