We're working on behalf of a special school based on the outskirts of North Bristol that are looking for a LSW to join the team either at their primary or secondary site. The school look after a very wide range of special needs & disabilities which include complex needs, ASD, SLD, PMLD, MLD, & SEMH.

The school are an amazing site with incredible facilities and boast a high retention rate with their staff, many staff have been there for many years!

The role

As mentioned above, the school have a vacancy in both their primary & secondary site so very much depends on your experience as to where you would be best placed. The role of LSW will involve mostly providing support in 1-1 capacities within small classes of students.

The role requires naturally happy, patient, calm and committed people to apply. In terms of experience the most important requirement is that you have good experience working with special needs & disabilities - whether this be in a school setting or not. The school have had many candidates from support work background be a huge success there.
