An opportunity has become available for an Office Manager to join a well-established property consultancy in Liverpool. As a market leader in their field the business has thrived in recent years. Recognised as a national consultancy they work with clients across the UK and have developed a reputation for excellence. The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the workplace. Duties are varied and will include:
General organisation of administrative processes in conjunction with Finance function
Management of the support team
Managing diaries, screening enquiries, and scheduling internal and external meetings
Organising office events
Organsing promotional events
Attending graduate career events
Maintaining relationships with local universities and charities
Drafting new policies and procedures in conjunction with director team
Coordinating training and development, including course bookings
Overseeing office equipment, maintaining stationery and office supplies
Managing office maintenance issues such as electrical and plumbing needs
Dealing with and managing the office cleaning regime and external cleaners
Overseeing the maintenance of the office alarm and fire alarm systems and ensuring compliance with H&S requirements
Managing the external archive space
Maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Liaising with specialist HR Consultants
General HR-related duties, including:
Dealing with recruitment enquiries, processing CV's, and arranging interviews
Onboarding new employees
Maintaining the flexible benefits portal
Maintaining the HR module on the company operating system
Maintaining approved company driver records
Organising annual appraisal meetings
The successful candidate will have a proven background in office management working for a medium/ large company. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multi- task will ensure success in the position. The role of Office Manager is interesting a varied and the ability to problem solve and build relationships with the team is essential. A knowledge of HR processes would be advantageous.
